Ice Baths

So Alex and I did a Wim Hof breathing lesson followed by an ice bath when we lived in Arizona and I became obsessed. I felt so much energy for the rest of the day. The main takeaway for me was that it’s about mental toughness and breathwork. Learning to breathe and stay calm through challenging moments. Which is an even bigger metaphor for the challenging moments in life. If you can learn to control your thoughts, mindset and breathing - you become very powerful. You have control over how you act in stressful moments. 


The ice bath is painful at first when you get in but when you conquer it, you feel in control.When we took the class, he recommended trying to get cod once a day. So not necessarily an ice bath but a cold shower even. He also mentioned that this method has really helped get a lot of his clients out of suicidal
